COME BACK TO YOURSELF
More You. Less Should
I believe our greatest fulfilment doesn’t come from becoming someone new. It comes from having the courage to return to who we’ve always been.
For a long time, I thought growth meant becoming better, more confident, more capable, more successful.
Over time, I realised that sometimes growth is about something different: becoming aware of what has taken us away from ourselves, and finding our way back.
My journey
My own journey began through some of life’s biggest transitions.
In 2019, I became pregnant with twins. My pregnancy was complicated, and I spent three months on bed rest. It was a challenging and uncertain time, but it taught me to slow down and connect more deeply with myself.
The deeper shift came during my first years of motherhood. From the outside, life looked good, but inside I was struggling with self-doubt, fear of judgement and a tendency to put other people’s expectations before my own.
I realised I had spent much of my life adapting myself to feel accepted, becoming a people pleaser and silencing parts of myself.
I had to ask:
Who am I when I stop living by the expectations I’ve inherited from family, society, culture and others?
That question became the beginning of my journey from self-doubt to self-trust.
Why I do This Work
My professional journey began in sales and customer service, where I developed a deep curiosity about people, how we think, what drives us and how we show up.
After my high-risk pregnancy, I studied counselling, initially focusing on supporting women through pregnancy adversity. Over time, my own journey led me towards the work I do today.
I work with women who may have successful and meaningful lives, but still feel that something is slightly out of sync.
Women who are asking:
Is this really how I want to live?
Whose expectations am I living by?
What actually matters to me?
What would I choose if I trusted myself more?
I believe we can become so focused on our roles, expectations and what we think we should do that we lose touch with our own inner voice.
Coming back to yourself is about creating the space to hear that voice again, to reconnect with what matters, trust yourself, and become more intentional about how you live, choose and show up.
That is the purpose of my work, and a journey I continue to live every day.
What I believe
Awareness
Change begins when we become aware of what is driving our choices.
Self-trust
Self-trust grows through the small choices we make when we start listening to ourselves.
Alignment
Alignment is about becoming more intentional about how we live, choose and show up.
Who I work with
I work with women who have spent years being who they felt they needed to be — meeting expectations, fulfilling roles, taking care of others and trying to get things right.
But something is shifting.
They may feel fear or hesitation about stepping more fully into who they really are, but the pull to live more authentically is becoming stronger than the desire to keep living by external expectations.
They are ready to give themselves permission:
To stop pretending.
To stop performing.
To stop perfecting. To stop proving.
To stop controlling.
And, finally, to start living.
More You. Less Should.
My work is about creating the space to ask:
How do I want to live when I stop living by external expectations and start making choices that are truly my own?
